Cheers for this Jon. Did some steaks for our anniversary tonight and topped it all off with this sauce, was a big hit! Simple and interesting to cook, bursting with flavour and a really easy to follow guide.
Supplemented the double cream for single as it was all we had in the fridge and the snow atm makes it a long walk to the shop. Still worked great though.

Many thanks

Hi KW, I cant help you with those chinese green peppercorns, but rest assured I will still be doing the PF@H thing when i get to madrid. I have a few pesetas stashed so that i dont starve or go without a decent drink!! In fact, Madrid has more bars than anywhere else in Europe, so I think im going to be a busy man! :O)

YUM! That looks so delicious. I think I'm going to have to demand steak for dinner now. We can only get rubbishy steaks out here so the sauce looks perfect. Where am I going to get green pepper corns in Beijing???

Please don't go all poor and studenty and stop doing the PF@H thing! I love your blog but get sooo hungry when I read it.
